Construction has been underway for a little over a month now at The Icon Allston. This final piece of The Green District will be the culmination of the impressive renaissance of the Brainerd Rd area. The Icon Allston will feature the same top of the lines finishes and amenities as its predecessors, The Element and The Edge. Unlike these other two Green District buildings, however, the Icon will be made up solely of studio and one bedroom apartments. The layouts here will be driven by efficiency of design. This concept will allow The Icon to house an impressive 108 luxury apartments.
Building features at The Icon Allston will be similar to the other Green District properties. Amenities will include a fitness center, common lounge, recycled grass roofdeck, zip car access, and more. Of course The Icon will be pet friendly as well, a feature that makes these Allston luxury buildings so appealing to renters. Cats are welcome as well as dogs up to 25 lbs. (full grown). There is a two pet maximum per unit.
The design of The Icon Allston will be striking. This Allston luxury building will feature a blue facade mixed with other ultra-modern architectural concepts. No other building in Boston will match the stunning looks of The Icon. These impressive designs will continue into the apartments themselves as well. White silestone counter tops will be complimented by dark, European style cabinetry and lightly hued composite wood flooring.
Preleasing at The Icon Allston is expected to begin in March of 2014. We have been receiving a high volume of requests for the building already, however.
